The fishing has been fantastic and we have seen some outstanding fish come abaord. The Cod arrived on the ground in May and we are now catching large Cod between 20 and 30 lbs on most trips. Best so far 42 lbs. we have had many large Ling with the best at 47 lbs. Coal fish to 28 lbs and good numbers of Pollack to 17 lbs. We have had an early run of Haddock and have landed good numbers between 4 and 7 lbs with best Haddock at 10 lbs. Added to this two Halibut at 36 and 40 lbs and Turbot to 26 lbs.
A new Scottish record Coalfish of 32 lbs 5 oz, this has now brought us the third Scottish record and one British record in the last 18 months. More will come next season.
